Who we are

TapCraft is a product of Hope Tech Inc (Burlington, North Carolina). For privacy questions, contact moneeb@hopetechapps.com.

What we collect

• Contact form: your name, email, topic, and message.
• Orders: your name, email, phone, billing address, shipping address, and payment details. Payment details are collected and stored by Stripe, not us — we only see the last four digits and the charge metadata.
• Basic request metadata: your IP address and user agent for each contact submission, for abuse investigation only.
• Analytics: anonymous, cookieless visit counts via Vercel Analytics. No cross-site tracking.

Why we collect it

• Fulfill and ship your order.
• Reply to your questions.
• Keep records we're legally required to keep (tax, accounting).
• Detect and investigate abuse of the contact form or checkout.

We don't sell your data. We don't run ads. We don't build profiles.

Who sees it

The only third parties that see your data are the services that make the site work:

• Stripe — payment processing.
• Supabase — database where orders and messages are stored.
• Resend — email delivery for order notifications.
• Vercel — hosting and anonymous analytics.
• USPS / UPS / FedEx — shipping the actual product to you.

Each of these sees only the slice of data they need. We don't share your information with anyone else unless the law requires it.

How long we keep it

• Contact submissions: up to 24 months, then deleted.
• Order records: 7 years (tax and accounting requirements in the US).
• Payment records: managed by Stripe per their retention policy.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you what we have, correct anything wrong, or delete your contact records at any time. Order records are subject to the retention period above, but we can redact personal fields on request once we're past the legal holding window.

Cookies

No cross-site tracking cookies. Stripe and Vercel may set a small number of technical cookies necessary for checkout security and analytics. We don't use cookie consent banners because we don't place cookies that require consent.

Children

TapCraft hardware is designed for small businesses and anyone can tap a device in the wild, but our website, checkout, and dashboard aren't directed at children under 13. If you're a parent or guardian and believe a child under 13 has provided us personal information through one of our accounts, email us and we'll delete it.

Changes

When we update this policy we update the date at the top. Material changes get a notice on the homepage.
