How it ships. How to send it back.

Everything is built and shipped from Burlington, NC — same-day where possible.

Shipping

  • Where: United States and Canada. Reach out if you need us to ship somewhere else.
  • Rates (at checkout): priced per product so freight tracks what it actually costs us to ship. Typical rates:
    • Keychain — $4 USPS First-Class.
    • TapCraft Standard (4″) — $10 USPS Priority.
    • TapCraft Professional (5″) — $17 USPS Priority.
    • TapCraft Statement (8″) — $22 USPS Priority.
    • Priority Express upgrade: +$12 on any of the above.
    • Free Priority shipping on orders $250 and up.
  • Processing: orders placed before 2pm ET ship the same business day. After that, next business day. We don't ship weekends.
  • Tracking: you get a tracking number by email the moment the label prints.
  • Lost in transit: if tracking stops moving for seven days, email us — we'll file the carrier claim and send a replacement.

Returns

  • Window: 30 days from delivery. After 30 days the two-year warranty below covers defects only.
  • Condition: unused, in the original packaging. A TapCraft that's been mounted, peeled, or scratched can't be resold.
  • Custom / logo prints: final sale. We can't resell a keychain with your logo on it, so we don't accept returns for buyer's remorse on custom pieces. If it arrives defective or misprinted, we'll replace it at no cost.
  • Refund timing: once we receive the return, we inspect it and issue the refund to your original payment method within 3 business days. Your bank takes another 5–10 days to post it.
  • Return shipping: on you, unless the item arrived defective or we shipped the wrong thing — in that case we cover it.

Warranty (2 years, displays only)

Every TapCraft Standard, Professional, and Statement display comes with a two-year warranty covering manufacturing defects: antenna failure, ferrite debonding, embedded NFC chip faults, and any structural issue that wasn't caused by misuse, impact, submersion, or modification.

If the display stops reading reliably in the first two years, email us. We'll diagnose (usually we can do it remotely — have your phone ready), and either replace the unit or refund you if a replacement isn't available.

Keychains and stands don't carry the two-year warranty but are covered for defects for 30 days.

How to start a return or warranty claim

Email moneeb@hopetechapps.com with your order number (on the confirmation email) and a short description of the issue. Photos help for defect claims. We reply within one business day.
